Real talkTape can come loose and looks a bit ugly, but it keeps the lace intact enough to thread and wear.

Bill of materials

• Clear tape or electrical tape
• Scissors (optional)
• Your frayed shoelaces

Assembly

1. 1Cut a small piece of tape around 2-3 cm long.
2. 2Wrap the tape tightly around the frayed end of the shoelace, covering the whole frayed area.
3. 3Press the tape down firmly so it sticks well.
4. 4Trim any excess tape if needed.
