Bill of materials
- Brown sugar
- Damp paper towel
- Microwave-safe bowl or plate
Assembly
- 1Put brown sugar in a microwave-safe bowl.
- 2Drape a damp (not soaking) paper towel over the sugar.
- 3Microwave on medium power for 20-30 seconds.
- 4Check and break up clumps with a fork.
- 5Repeat in short bursts if needed.
- 6Transfer sugar to an airtight container immediately after.
⚠ Be careful not to overheat or wet the sugar too much, or it will clump badly.
