Real talkIf the sticker’s been on for years, the adhesive might be stubborn and leave residue or take some elbow grease to get off.
Bill of materials
- Hair dryer
- Plastic scraper or old credit card
- Rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover (like Goo Gone)
- Clean cloth
Assembly
- 1Turn the hair dryer on high and warm the sticker for a few minutes to soften the glue.
- 2Use the plastic scraper or credit card to gently lift the edge of the sticker.
- 3Peel the sticker off slowly, reheating if it resists.
- 4Dab rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover on the sticky residue.
- 5Wipe the residue with a clean cloth until it’s gone.
⚠ Be careful not to overheat and damage paint with the hair dryer.
